I won a runners-up prize in the Body and Soul SunRice comp - a $50 SunRice hamper. That's a lot of rice crackers!!! What was a bit odd was that the closing date is listed as 24th Feb. Has anyone else been notified, and is the winner of the Kitchen Aid mixer amongst our group??

Incredibly exited for 2 reasons today. 1st; I've received my first win for 2012 and  2nd: i had a 10 week drought of not a single thing at all!  Last night was the first night ever when i decided right well my lucks all out, i comp for about 7 hours per week and i'm now done with it.  I was completely despondent.  BUT then......

I recieved a txt today from NOVA saying " Just calling up to see how you went with your $1000 dollar prize that you won with us before christmas and just making sure that all was good.  Please return our call"  FAR OUT!!!!  that was news to me as i had no idea.

When i called they advised that there had been a hurry before christmas and apologised that no one had contacted me to tell me i was a winner in the facebook Panadol comp.   After verifying my details it was confirmed and i can collect it this week :) :)  YAY  my dad then rained on my parade by some very badly timed comment which has left me totally disheartened since.  

So 2 bits of advise to you all:  1st NEVER EVER give up, i nearly did and look what happened.  2ndly: I've now learnt the hard way that not everyone wil remain happy or share your joy when you win.  At first some may, but after a while many even some family members or good friends feel a sense of entitlement, greed or jealousy.  Now i only tell my hubby and kids, and of course the positive ACC's.  

JRN - thank you sooo much for posting this one :)  I wouldn't have been a winner if you didn't share :) :)

Yay! I've won a 12 month supply of Radiant Gel washing liquid! I don't usually get excited about doing the washing but the win will definitely make a difference to our grocery bill!

Hey Bubbalor Great win. Congratulations! And know how you feel about telling people about prizes you  win!  I do not tell anyone apart from close family, as people are not interested ~it seems to be a jealousy thing. They do not realise the "work" that goes into comping!
That is why I enjoy this section.  People are interested in hearing about your wins, no matter how small!

A bit of a surprise win when I was procrastinating last night I decided to google my name and came across my name as a winner of a Man on Ledge dp from citybeach. It just shows a little procrastination is good for you sometimes.

I agree with regard to telling people. I don't say much at all now with regard to my comp wins too much disinterest from people around. And unfortunately I've stopped giving away alot of prizes as there is always little value placed on them because I have won them. Now I sell them. Also sell because it helps me support my three children whilst on a pension that barely covers the basic living costs.

Really happy for you Bubbalor, I know how despondency feels ! The money will be really useful I'm sure. Also congrates to all the winners this week.

Sorry, meant to say congrats to all the winners.  Well done bubbalor, I know what you means about teliing people and sharing things with people.  You think you are doing a good turn but there is this weird atmosphere.  I'll be selling the things my daughter or I can't use in future as well.

To all those that have wished me well and congratulated me thank you very much :)  Was exciting today to go into NOVA and collect my prize.  Turns out it's not cash, but a $1000 david jones /card instead.  I'm sooo very thrilled, as our tv's audio has just about gone after having the same tv for 11 years now.  Now our family only has to save about another $500 and we will be able to treat ourselves and kiddies to a lovely new telly that has sound that works and a bit more flash than we'd normally be able to afford :) :)

OK, drought well and truly broken.  I just received a WEM for a $500 Star Cash Card in the nominate your favourite Star Mart competition.  Thank you culturebird for posting the competition (I have won so many things in comps you have posted culturebird!).

I have a mysterious Panasonic missed delivery of 2 boxes, weight 13kg!! It cant be my aircon as Im sure that would weigh much more....or would it?? Have to wait until Friday now to find out!!

If it's split system then the internal part could be 13 kgs.

Maybe it was 13kg each....Im sure it must be the aircon. Dont think Ive won any other Panasonic comps  :D

DP to Grey and i finally received the $500 from the christmas paypal payoff comp and i received the Holster jelly sandals.
Not a comp win but I tried so hard to win the Panasonic air con for my daughter who has special needs doesnt understand why it gets hot and keeps me awake at night, so we decided we will have to save and buy one, last Friday i got a call from a foundation that helps my daughter and they are going to put in air con in our living room and daughters bedroom, im very happy that she can sleep and myself on hot nights...it's funny how things turn out.

i got an e-mail from disney, saying my daughter won a prize in the matell/ cars 2 competiton, but my address and phone number was incorrect? i have no idea what comp it was or what the prize was .

I think that this relates to a Cadbury Catch-up competition. Purchase req.

I don't think the Disney iPad comp was for Cars 2 and Mattel do not make Lego.  Mattel made Cars 2 tie-ins such as cars and car tracks if that rings any bells.  Given the timing it was probably when the DVD was released (not when the film was released)

Brymadd I won on the Disney ipad/lego comp. I won a runners-up prize of 2 lego toys. When they aked me to confirm my details, they replied that my name was wrong! As I sometimes enter with my husbands name I thougt that was the problem. However, they wrote back and asked if I knew "SOMEONE ELSES NAME"! They took a few days to look into the problem and said there had been an issue but as it was my email, I would be sent the prize. So, it could be the Disney comp, maybe second chance draw??

I just had a courier arrive at my house and walk up to my door with a small parcel marked 'fragile'. My heart did a skip and a jump as I thought I must have won something really special. It was a packet of Vita-Weat Lunch slices from a Facebook competition. Well, it was nice to receive something anyway.  :)

I heard the courier van pull up, the excitement, the anticipation-a box of Vitawheats!

I went to the casino today, had an itchy palm and all, thought my luck was in, walked in the door & was presented with a club card with $20 on it, I was sure it was a further sign.... then couldn't get the bloomin thing to work, put $10 of my own in the pokies & it was sucked down into the pit of no return  :?.
