On Wednesday June 6, Melbourne's Comedy Theatre will transform into a night of free jazz with a 2012 Melbourne International Jazz Festival exclusive - The Fringe. Known best for their inspired improvisations, George Garzone (saxophone), John Lockwood (bass) and Bob Gullotti (drums) inject each of their shows with an element of the unexpected. Jazz Up Late with Gerry Koster has five double passes to give away. To be in the running to win the tickets, in a short paragraph tell us the most unexpected improvisation you've seen at a live show. Celebrating 40 years on the international circuit, this is the first performance of The Fringe in Melbourne. The competition ends on Sunday May 6, 2012. The prize is tickets only. |
