German musician Alexander Hacke visits Istanbul to capture the diversity of Turkish music – from modern electronic sounds, rock and hip-hop to classical 'Arabesque' music.

Armed with a complete mobile recording studio, including his ‘magic mic’, he discovers a lively music scene within this contradictory and seductive city.
