Also a reminder for those wishing to sell any unwanted prizes, to please use the Unwanted Prizes or Auction sections for this purpose.  Please do not list your intent to sell in this thread, as this would show Trainees what is available and would invite them to pm a seller directly.  Trainees do not have access to the Unwanted Prizes or Auction sections, and have to attain the status of Junior Member before they are allowed to trade.  This rule is to protect our trading community from members who have no established posting history in ACC.

Just got a WPC from Body and Soul to say I had won a Herbal Essences Pack worth $135.  That's a lotta shampoo.  Thanks ceramics for the post.  Also a big 'win' for me was the purchase of my first property last week.  A beautiful apartment in an old sandstone sugar mill.  My daughter and I are ridiculously excited and can't wait to move in!

Had a missed courier delivery on Friday and then spent 20 minutes waiting on the phone to reorganise it's delivery.

The package arrived today and had to be signed for. Inside was a Stanley razor blade safety knife valued at $2.  :lol:

Prizes like that are really not worth the effort - or the cost of a courier delivery.  :?

Today received a nice surprise a Morphy Richards Cyan Blue Toaster and Kettle pack (thanks JRN for the post back in April).  I had read the winners list and I was not on it but there must be been some crossover with the names as there was a surname similar to mine (without an "s" on the end) and with a different Christian name (same unusual Christian name given for the next winner as well) so I thought this was not me.   Very pretty  worth $259.00

WEM from Culture Street for a Second Chances book and WPC for a dp to the movies from a survey.

I got a phone call today from a radio station in Perth where they have been running a comp with a $20,000 cash prize for months and they wanted my address details. I've put my name in the draw a couple of times and haven't heard them mention anything about any minor prize draws. It will probably amount to nothing, but then again.....(if there was a smiley with everything crossed then that's what I'd insert here).

One teenage daughter got me agreeing to a modelling portfolio for her if I win and my wife said she would take care of the rest of the money. That's the trouble with cash, it slips through your fingers before you know it - in my case it doesn't even reach my fingers even if I win! Good old trips are best.  8-[

Ok so this is my first post so here we go,first just a big thanks to all that post comps here  :D as I entered the Better Homes and gardens Nissan travel blogger competition and have been chosen as a finalist (1 of 6) So I have the use of a new Nissan for 7 days and $2000 spending money,also have to write a blog (which I have never done before) about our road trip for the mag.If I have the highest number of votes for my at the end of it all I will win the Nissan Almera  :P So again thanks to all that post and congratulations to all the other winners..One very happy camper here  :lol:

Hi marfs - do you have to pay to have it delivered or are you in the area? I won a Polly swing earler in the year from Baby Village and silly me (who occasionally doesn't read the small-print) had to pay $45 to have it delivered to Perth!

Hi Larabelle, yes I am paying for postage as well. It's annoying but it was only $20 for me (i'm in Melb), however I've never had to pay to have prizes delivered before. It probably was in the fine print but same as you I don't recall reading it! $45 delivery is a bit steep though! I am sure if I read about a delivery fee it wouldn't deter me from entering comps but I wonder how many other companies do it this way.

Another DVD :) a little bit of heaven , I've won more dvds this year than any other year I've been comping , in the first year I didn't win any at all :)

Earlier in the week I had some WEMs with Step Up 4 passes and today I had two instant wins - one with rimmel on Facebook (a kohl eye pencil) and the other with new idea birthday (marilyn monroe box set)
