Contest Instructions

    To be in the running to win the new Canon EOS-6D, upload a single photograph based on the theme: A slight change of Tropics: looking into the future. The competition will be adjudicated by JCU Creative Arts staff with a winner announced on the SoCA Facebook page on the 22nd December, 2012.

Prize Eligibility
    Only persons residing in Australia who are at least 13 years of age can enter.

    November 29, 2012 @ 12:00 pm (EST)

Contest Ends
    December 21, 2012 @ 12:00 pm (EST)



Official Rules

- One photograph per participant
- Participants agree to have their work published on the James Cook University SoCA page
- You will retain all rights to your submission, the photographs will not be used elsewhere without your consent
- Photographs must be uploaded to the competition wall to be considered
- Competition will be judged in accordance with the theme “A slight change of Tropics: looking into the future”
- Judging will be conducted by James Cook University School of Creative Arts staff
- The judges’ decision will be final
- The competition will close on December 21 2012, with the winner announced on the JCU SoCA facebook page on the December 22 2012
- The winner will be notified by phone or email
- Competition is open to Australian residents only
