Title: WHAT TO DO WITH UNWANTED PRIZE ??? Post by: badassdadof3 on Tuesday 12 March 2013, 05:37:32 pm hi im just wondering what to do with unwanted prize? ive one a camcorder which im excited about but i already got one, dont need another one. i have few choice. i either sell it? swap? trade?. im leading more to swap or trade. so does anyone know what a good website for swap or trade?? keep in mind i live in regional town. any thought ???

In the past (depending on product) I have found that ebay will achieve a price about 20-30% below retail. Make it clear in your ad if you go down this route that it is a prize, there is no receipt, and thus no warranty. Any bidders will price accordingly.

I think the CompingClub Unwanted Prizes section is worth a peek too (just make sure you read the rules :) ) I always keep a 'present' cupboard and would fish something like that out for my brothers/mates bdays! Saves me money and they end up with an awesome present! Good luck! :)
