Our very own wildlife warrior movie star, Bindi Irwin, will be celebrating her 15th Birthday on July 24 and to celebrate, we'll be turning the zoo into a Nim's Island playground adventure! So grab your swimmers and a pair of boardies and join us for the ultimate wildlife island adventure. Gates open early at 8.00am because we've got more FREE entertainment and action than you can poke a stick at. The Ka Maeva Polynesian Dance Troupe will perform on Admissions Lawn at 9:00am and during our Wildlife Warriors Pre-show at 11:10am!* Experience an authentic and colorful journey of South Pacific dancing to the drum beats of the Pacific. The Hawaiian dance troupe will showcase hula dancing, drum dancing and great interaction with the audience where the dancers will select willing participants to do the hula - loads of fun and laughter you definitely will not want to miss. Ascend to your best! Scale our 7.5m Rock Climbing Wall to reach the peak of your ability. And don't forget to check out the you-beaut view at the top! Check out our Surf Life Saving Queensland volunteers as they take a break from saving lives at the beach. Ride the wild wave on our huge Wave Break Slide! Tag your targets in the ultimate Laser Tag clash! Score points in a painless battle against your opponents. Try some hard curves and grab big air on our amazing Mechanical Surfboard that will really generate some laughs and excitement! Make your favourite mud animal in our animal clay workshops and take them home to keep. Meet and have your photo taken with some of the Return to Nim's Island animal movie stars!
