Sarah burst onto the world stage at the 2001 Edinburgh Festival and has gone on to perform at comedy festivals around the world including Montreal, Kilkenny, Edinburgh, Melbourne and Hong Kong. She’s won, or been nominated for, nearly every global comedy award possible and in 2004 was the first woman in nine years to receive a prestigious Perrier Award Nomination at the Edinburgh Festival.

In the UK Sarah’s sardonic humour and pitch perfect delivery helped land her a role in the gloriously silly all-female TV sketch show for E4, Beehive. She also took a turn on BBC radio comedy shows The Now Show, Dilemma, and The Stephen K Amos Show. Sarah also stars alongside Sally Phillips and Nina Conti in one of British radios best loved and longest running sitcoms, Clare in the Community.

After a hiatus for the birth of her first child, Sarah returned to stand-up in 2012 with her show Get Up, Stand Up. The show was a jolly romp through the creeping sexualisation of mainstream culture and the erosion of feminism, and it garnered nine 4 and 5 star reviews at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe resolutely announcing her return to the top of the game. She took that same show to the Melbourne Comedy Festival in 2013 as Persona to a rapturous response.
