If you thought struggling to pronounce words like similarly and serendipitous was frustrating, imagine being a vampire. Or simply see this film. What We Do in the Shadows follows the day-to-day lives of three centuries-old vampires living together in modern-day Wellington – dealing with rent, relationships and ways to find food that still isn’t sold in supermarkets (ie. fresh human blood).

A mockumentary comedy directed by and also starring Taika Waititi (Boy, Eagle vs Shark) and Flight of the Conchords’ Jemaine Clement, this film will shuffle up your favourites list like a bumbag-wearing lad on the Frankston train line. Tipped to become an enduring cult classic, this 85-minute masterpiece will leave you with enough comedic material for hours of improvisations and a much more defined six pack, even if you did decide the medium candy bar combo was a good idea.

For your chance to win 1 of 20 double passes for you and a friend to see What We Do in the Shadows, simply tell us in 25 words or less: “As a vampire, whose blood would you drink first and why?”
