Ahead of Katy Perry’s return to Australia in November as part of her Prismatic World Tour, Telstra is calling on schools across the country to make a video showcasing what makes their school special, unique and inspirational for the opportunity to win a visit from the star herself.

One lucky school will win a visit from the 11-time GRAMMY® nominated singer, a $10,000 Telstra Thanks grant for their performing arts department to ensure the ongoing development of cultural programs at the school and 20 concert tickets to see Katy Perry at their nearest capital city during her tour.

Two highly commended schools will also receive a $5,000 Telstra Thanks grant for their performing arts departments or programs.

Telstra’s Director of CRM, Digital and Loyalty, Nick Adams is encouraging students to unleash their creativity in the classrooms, hallways and playgrounds of their school for the opportunity to win this once in a lifetime opportunity.

To enter, schools need to upload their video submission to Vimeo and complete the official entry form online at telstra.com/katyperry.

The This Is How We Do OUR School competition is open from 8th – 26th September, and entries will be judged on their creativity.

Katy Perry will visit the winning school during the Australian leg of The Prismatic World Tour where she will perform shows in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne during November and December
2014.

So Katy and Telstra Thanks are asking you to create a video demonstrating what makes your school special, unique and inspirational. Katy will then visit the winning school herself!

Schools play an integral role in fostering talent and creative development. So Telstra Thanks will also provide the winning school with a $10,000 grant for their performing arts department. Two runner up schools will each receive a $5,000 grant. Entries will be judged on their creativity.
