Double Pass To Granite Town Music Festival (http://static.bmamag.com/photologue/photos/cache/TIDBITS-Granite-Town_article_size_4.jpg) Now in it’s 18th year, and with well established roots on the music festival calender, the Moruya Jazz Festival is taking a whole new turn. Featuring a huge variety of well known excellent entertainers, bands (Katie Noonan, Thirsty Merc), and musical entertainers lined up to be playing around the clock from Friday October 17 to Sunday October 19. The festival will open on Friday evening with a ‘Welcome to Country’ and floating lantern parade on the Moruya River at Riverside Park. ‘Riverlights’ will involve community groups, schools and individuals in the creation of large lanterns to be set afloat on the river. A free music concert, and fireworks, roaming entertainers and fire-twirlers will set the tone for the following two days, which will be jam packed with music. Ticketed events will include 5 music locations around town, featuring quality jazz, funk (and everything in-between) bands, instrumentalists and singers from across Australia as well as local favourites.
