Australia's most connected man on LinkedIn and business author, James Evangelidis, has come up with a world first to launch his first thriller. An eBook entitled Maze of Keys, gives the reader and three supporting charities the chance to share in the book’s sales simply by reading it and entering a competition to solve an online puzzle.

The minimum guaranteed prize value is US $10,000, regardless of how many books are sold. The real twist is that the more books sold, the higher the cash prize.

"If we sell one million books, which is my personal goal, the prize money will be US $3 million for the reader who solves the puzzle with an additional US $1 million for charity. An author like John Grisham sells about 10 million books in a year. If we can sell half that number, the prize money will be US $15 million plus another US $5 million that will be split equally between our supporting charities," James says.

People might ask "What's the catch?" The simple answer is that there is no catch. The global accounting firm Ernst & Young are the official auditors and scrutineers of the Maze of Keys competition. They will assure that everything is done correctly giving competition entrants complete peace of mind.

The Maze of Keys book is now on sale until 31 October 2014.
