The TV series explores the early relationship between the renowned psychiatrist Hannibal Lecter (eerily played by Mads Mikkelsen) and his patient, a young FBI criminal profiler (Hugh Dancy), who is haunted by his ability to empathise with serial killers. Like Season One, some of the seasons get so surreal in Hannibal: Season Two that you feel like you’ve entered a dream. Or nightmare. Must-see viewing for fans of recent thriller-horror series such as ‘Dexter’, ‘Bates Motel’, and of course the superb ‘American Horror Story’.
