Yo yo yo – okay, so we can’t really rap, but we can make you jump for joy, because the kind folk over at Live Nation have given us three double passes to see Kimbra perform live in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland!

Many of you may already know this wild woman, having recently spied her on the cover of our current issue before finding out all about her dodgy hair-dos and 4am studio sessions. Or you might have just turned your radio on.

Since the release of her critically acclaimed first album Vows (2011), Kimbra has played a starring role in the world of pop music. Her indelible sound has spread all the way from her original hometown in Hamilton, New Zealand to the lively streets of LA and beyond. And now, to promote the release of her second album, The Golden Echo, Kimbra will be touring Australia and New Zealand in November and we want you to go!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Competition is open to Australian residents only. Starts 30 September, 2014 and ends 7 October, 2014. This is a game of skill and entrants must answer this question in 25 words or less: “What personal possession would you swap for a ticket to see Kimbra?” The most creative answers will win. 3 winners will each receive a double pass to see Kimbra in Sydney, Melbourne or Auckland. Total prize pool value $329.40. Entries will be judged on 8 October, 2014 at nextmedia Level 6, 207 Pacific Hwy, St Leonards NSW 2065. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. All email addresses collected in the entry form will be added to the Yen Newsletter database.
