Win tickets to see the Chantoozies

ALL SET: The Chantoozies will perform at Wests New Lambton on October 19.

THEY have shared the stage with Noiseworks, Daryl Braithwaite and Hoodoo Gurus and supported Billy Joel on his last Australia tour.

This year they have rubbed shoulders with Hugh Jackman, Eric Bana and Anthony Lapaglia who appear in the film clip for their new single, Baby It's You.

Who are they?

The Chantoozies.

Ally Fowler, Tottie Goldsmith, Eve Von Bibra and Angelica Arnott formed as a good time cover band in 1986.

They were to perform a one off show for Goldsmith's birthday.

However, their gig attracted 600 people to the club - encouragement enough for the musicians to continue.

Throughout the 80s and 90s the women toured Australia extensively, appearing on every imaginable entertainment programme in the country.

They took a break from music with Fowler appearing on Neighbours and Prisoner while Goldsmith could be seen on The Young Doctors, Prisoner and Underbelly.

But now they are back together and will perform a one night only show at Wests New Lambton on Sunday, October 19.

Tickets, available from westsnewcastle.com.au or 4935 1200, cost $29 for club members and $34 for non-members.

The Examiner has three double passes to the show, which starts at 8pm.

To win a pass, send your name and contact detail in an email titled "Chantoozies" to ewatts@fairfaxmedia.com.au.

The winners will be notified by 5pm on Wednesday, October 15.
