Nina Las Vegas

Sat 11 October

The Hi-Fi MELBOURNE

In Alphabetical order: Eclair Fifi (LuckyMe – UK), Nina Las Vegas (triple j), Sam Tiba (Bromance – FR), UNiiQU3 (USA) and special guest SWICK (Mad Decent – AUS)

This October sees Nina Las Vegas return to clubs around the country with her second instalment of the NLV Presents Tour – International Edition.
Following on from the sell-out success of February’s inaugural tour, Nina brings a twist to proceedings by assembling a cast of international DJs – some of the freshest and diverse out there. “I wanted the chance to bring you some artists that you may already know and respect, as well as some artists that you should know and will get to see first in Australia on this tour.” Drum roll…. Eclair Fifi (LuckyMe – UK), Sam Tiba (Bromance – FR), UNiiQU3 (USA) and special guest SWICK (Mad Decent – AUS).
Edinburgh’s Eclair Fifi has been DJing since her mid-teens, at 16 holding down her own pirate show on ‘Interface’. Fast forward to now, she’s resident host for LuckyMe’s Rinse FM show and last year was resident on BBC Radio One’s In New DJs We Trust, playing to an average live audience of 2 million people per week. From DJing at some the hardest, ghettotech and hardcore nights in Glasgow, she’s since become widely recognised for her encyclopaedic knowledge of Italo Disco, Latin Freestyle and Electro. Currently holding down residencies at Paris Social Club as well as Hoya:Hoya in Manchester this is Eclair Fifi’s first DJ Tour on Australian shores.

Club Cheval member and Bromance brother Sam Tiba combines his own dreamlike productions with a fondness for underground sounds: mashing together up-tempo rhythms, the remains of Rave and R&B sounds – Sam’s come a long way from studying theory and learning the trombone at his local Music Academy. Having spent the last three years criss-crossing the planet with the Club Cheval crew (visiting Australia in late 2012), this is Sam’s first outing to Australia in his own right, with his new Samuel EP dropping on Bromance this September.
