The next Ride2Work Day is on Wednesday 15 October 2014.Cargo Bikes - A great way to drop the kids off on your way to work

Ride2Work Day is an annual event day organised by Bicycle Network Victoria to promote commuter cycling.

The event seeks to:

    Support people considering riding to work by making their first ride a fun experience
    Encourage people who give riding to work a break over winter to get back on the bike and ride to work through spring, summer and autumn, and
    Reward people who regularly ride to work with a delicious breakfast to inspire them to keep riding.   

Ride2Work Day activities in Moreland

This year the Ride2Work day breakfast will be held in Victoria Mall, Coburg (outside the Coburg Library) from 7 am to 11 am. Stop by on your ride to work and enjoy free coffee, scones and fruit.

Bicycle Network Victoria encourages community groups and workplaces throughout Australia to host Ride2Work Day community breakfasts. Moreland City Council has hosted a breakfast every year since 2005.

Several bike shops on busy Brunswick routes also regularly host activities on Ride2Work Day.
