Amongst the vast selection of esteemed films that will feature at Russian Resurrection are Test, winner of 2014’s Kinotavr Film Festival’s Best Film; Stalingrad an epic look at the battle that turned the tide of World War II; the culinary romantic comedy Kitchen in Paris; the delightful lyrical comedy Game of Truth based on the play of the same name; the moving drama Goodbye Mum and Vasilisa the grand historic epic brimming with lavish costumes, large scale battle scenes, a sweeping score and a traditional love story will launch the Russian Resurrection Film Festival on Friday 7th November In an atmosphere of excitement, festivity and Russian hospitality, Russian Resurrection enhances and invigorates the relationships between Russia, Australia, and now New Zealand.
