 New Disney Fairies Trail at Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne

 The Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne, along with The Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, The Australian Botanic Garden at Mount Annan and The Blue Mountains Botanic Garden at Mount Tomah have initiated the brand new Disney Fairies Trail for children aged three and above. This new initiative aims to encourage children to spend more time in nature and raise awareness of plant habitat and conservation.

The official launch will be held during two sessions in the children’s garden on Sunday 30 November 2014. Participants are encouraged to pop on their best fairy costumes for activities and entertainment, including wand making, potting a fairy flower to take home, creating a fairy wishing bag and face painting. They will also receive a Disney Fairies Trail booklet and an exclusive Disney Fairies show.

Disney Fairies Trail launch: Saturday 29 November 2014
Sessions: 11am–1pm and 1–3pm
Location: The Ian Potter Foundation Children’s Garden, Birdwood Avenue, Melbourne. Please register at the Visitor Centre on arrival.
Cost: $25 per child, free for adults

CHILD magazines is giving away two double passes (valued at $50 each, adults free) to the official launch of the Disney Fairies Trail at the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne on Sunday 30 November 2014. The prize includes entry, a Disney Fairies Trail booklet and an exclusive Disney Fairies show bag, courtesy of the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne. The prize can be redeemed at either of the two sessions at 11am–1pm or 1–3pm. The participants will need to register and pick up their tickets from the Visitor Centre on arrival. Entries close 26 November 2014. The winners will be notified via email and announced on the website.
