To celebrate the release of Grand Designs Australia series five on DVD, Fremantle Media is giving you the opportunity to win one of six ultimate Grand Designs Australia prize packs featuring series one to five, and valued at $169.75 each.

Based on the popular UK show and hosted by award-winning architect Peter Maddison, Grand Designs Australia follows the structural, financial and emotional journey over many months of people building their own homes.

To be in the running, just answer the following question in 25 words or less – What design features would your dream home have? Be as creative as possible!


CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: Information on how to enter forms part of the conditions of entry. The competition is open to Australian residents only. Employees of Express Publications Pty Limited ACN 057 807 904 (“Express”), Roadshow Films Pty Ltd ACN 100 746 870 (“Roadshow”) and their subsidiaries and families are not eligible to enter. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable for cash. The competition commences Thursday, 2 April 2015 and closes last mail Wednesday, 13 May 2015. The winners will be chosen at 50 Silverwater Road, Silverwater NSW 2128 at 4pm on Monday, 18 May 2015 after the competition ends. There will be six winners. If the winners are not present when chosen they will be notifi ed by phone, email and mail. The winners will be decided by a panel appointed by Home Ideas magazine. The judges’ decision is fi nal and no correspondence will be entered into. The competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. All entries will be judged individually on their merits based on creativity and originality. Each prize consists of one Grand Designs series one DVD, valued at approximately $29.95, one Grand Designs series two DVD, valued at approximately $29.95, one Grand Designs series three DVD, valued at approximately $29.95, one Grand Designs series four DVD, valued at approximately $39.95 and one Grand Designs series fi ve DVD, valued at approximately $39.95. Each prize pack is worth approximately $169.75 The total prize value is worth approximately $1018.50. The prize value is subject to change after printing. Roadshow will pay for the delivery costs of the prize to the winner and deliver the prize to the winner. Neither Roadshow nor Express will pay for any other costs associated with the prize. Entry forms submitted will not be returned to the entrants. By entering the competition you consent to Express reproducing or publishing in whole or part throughout the world your statement which you provided to us on the entry form which we may use in all media formats including print, electronic or any other publishing medium.
