Disney Pixar’s inventive new film Inside Out will take you to a place that everyone knows, but no one has ever been to: the world inside the human mind. Viewers will be led inside 11 year-old Riley’s head, through a journey of emotions felt by us all – those of fear, sadness, joy, disgust and anger. The emotions live in “Headquarters” (the control center inside Riley’s mind) where they lead Riley through everyday life.

Riley is guided by these emotions as she is uprooted from her hometown in the Midwest United States, and struggles to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, where her father has started a new job. As Riley struggles with her emotions in her new city life, turmoil ensues in Headquarters and although Joy (Riley’s main and most important emotion) tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new town, house and school.

The exciting Inside Out toy line brings to life the rich movie characters of the film and their colourful personalities, including Riley’s five emotions; Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust. The character-driven toys showcase the unique personalities and distinct qualities of the ‘Inside Out’ characters, enabling children to recreate the imaginative settings, re-enact their favourite scenes and collect each emotion.

Each figure’s Memory Sphere lights up when placed into the Console, recreating what happens when the Emotions are trying to help Riley through the twists and turns of life in the film.
