But I have to admit, I didn't know much about Guerlain. The storied French fragrance house has created more than 800 perfumes over more than a century, many for European royalty. It's makeup is equally good. The company is owned by luxury conglomerate LVMH which which also owns Louis Vuitton, Dior and Givenchy. What impresses me most about this brand is the quality of ingredients. It doesn't spend as much money on global ad campaigns, instead investing in the science and the raw materials. If you've tried the wonderful Lingerie de Peau foundation or Terracotta bronzer, you'll understand what I mean. And don't get me started on the Orchidee anti-aging cream, my all-time favourite luxe cream. I'm excited to feature Guerlain in my next facebook luxe giveaway.
