Crowell is a multi-Grammy-award winner whose songs have been recorded by Johnny Cash, Norah Jones, Etta James and Grateful Dead among others. Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell came together in 2012 to record what was to become their Grammy Award winning album Old Yellow Moon.
