Terms and Conditions available at Club

Promotional Period
1. North Sydney Leagues Club (norths) “Members Getaway” promotion (“Promotion”) commences at 10am on
Tuesday 1 September, 2015 and ends Thursday 31 December, 2015 at 11.59:59pm
Entry Requirements
1. Entry is open to current Financial Members as well as new members of North Sydney Leagues Club.
2. Members receive entry/entries upon:
a. Joining as a new member during the promotional period
b. Renewing their membership during the promotional period
c. referring a friend for membership and that friend successfully joining as a member
3. Members will receive entries based on the level of membership they take up or renew to (the member who
referred a friend will receive the same number of entries as that new member)
a. 1 year membership – 1 entry
b. 3 year membership – 3 entries
c. 5 year membership – 5 entries
d. 10 year membership – 10 entries
e. Perpetual membership – 15 entries
4. Members must complete a current and valid mobile and/or email address in the designated field on the
membership form to be eligible for entry into this promotion.
5. If a member fills in both a current and valid email address and mobile phone number they will receive 1
bonus entry.
6. If a member also joins NORTHS Fitness during the promotional period they will receive a bonus 5 entries.
Draws & Prizes
7. There will be a draw after each month for a $500 Flight Centre Travel Voucher. These draws will contain
entries from that month only. These draws are undertaken as barrel draws.
8. These draws will take place at the following dates and times
a. September draw – Thursday 1 October 10am
b. October draw – Monday 2 November 10am
c. November draw – Tuesday 1 December 10am
d. December draw – Monday 4 January 10am
9. One member will be drawn at each of the dates and times above and be contacted via phone to collect their
prize the next time they visit the club
10. A major draw will take place for a $3,000 Flight Centre Travel Voucher on Monday 4 January at 10.15am.
This draw will include all tickets since the beginning of the promotion.
11. One member will be drawn and contacted via phone to collect their prize the next time they visit the club
12. Total promotional prize pool - $5,000
Identification
13. Winners will be contacted via phone and must present identification when collecting their prize
General
14. Prize winners are advised that Tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek
independent financial advice prior to the acceptance of the prize.
15. North Sydney Leagues Club is part of the norths Group, which is the promoter. The promoter reserves the
right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if the promoter determines, in
their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to
safely participate in the prize.
16. norths Group reserves the right to cancel or change the prizes offered under this promotion if there are any
changes to the law which would render the promotion or any prizes offered under the promotion unlawful.
17. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form
determined by the promoter in its absolute discretion.
18. Decisions of the management of norths Group are final. No correspondence will be entered into.
19. To the extent that a situation or issue arises for which these terms and conditions make no provision or in
relation to which the relevant terms and conditions are unclear, norths Group reserves the right to make a
decision regarding such a situation or issue in its sole and absolute discretion and such a decision will be
final and binding.
20. Norths Group Directors, Management and staff members are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.
21. Participation in the Promotion by a patron confirms acceptance of the terms and conditions of the Promotion
and the Club’s Rules and By-Laws in force from time to time.
22. Should a prize winner consent to having his/her photograph taken, that selected prize winner consents to
having his/her name and photograph published in any form of media and agrees to participate in any
reasonable promotion requested by norths Group.
23. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer
virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the
control of the promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper
conduct of this promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual
who tampers with the entry process.
24. All entries become the property of the Promoter and will be entered into a database. The promoter may use
the entrants' names, addresses and telephone numbers for the distribution of prizes as well as future
promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee
being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant.
25. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time
stipulated by the promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner.
26. The laws of the state of New South Wales govern the promotion.
27. The Promotion is authorised under NSW Permit No. LTPSTBA
