A few months ago I did a search for my name and discovered I'd won a prize from a Taste magazine which I had never been notified about. I emailed Taste and we sent a few emails back and forth, with no eventual response. It wasn't until early this year that a rep was going through all these old emails and must have found my correspondence. She asked me if the matter had been resolved and I said no, but I had given up expecting anything (I was very polite) and she immediately contacted Kambrook to have my prize delivered...6 months after winning! It arrived today and I'm very pleased :) So the moral is...don't always assume the organisers will contact the winners of their competitions and search for your name every now and then! You may be pleasantly surprised! :)
