In the 1990s, you were a fan of either one of two styles of music: grunge – led of course by the kings of the genre, Nirvana – or techno, techno, techno. If it was the latter you were into, then the names Corona, Culture Beat and C&C Music Factory would all have rung a bell, and you’d most likely have known that all three appeared as part of the first 90s Mania concerts earlier this year. Now, retro club-music lovers can rejoice with the news that a second dose of 90s Mania is set to take over venues across the country. Throughout the first 10 days of September, 90s Mania (Mark II) will see a host of acts presenting a host of all-too-familiar dancefloor hits – the bill including Haddaway (What Is Love), La Bouche (Sweet Dreams), Jenny Berggren of Ace Of Bass (All That She Wants), Katrin of Black Box (Ride On Time), and Amber (This Is Your Night). In between will be sets from Aussie DJ Nick Skitz, playing various other memorable dance tunes. For dates and ticket links, see below.
