In her final, Emmy® Award-winning performance, the legendary Ingrid Bergman (Casablanca) portrays one of the most formidable women in history: Golda Meir.

Growing up in the streets of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she harboured an incredible dream: she wanted to help the Jewish people build a new home. Her arduous journey led to a dusty kibbutz in Palestine and the struggle to establish the nation of Israel.

Through hardship, through war, through countless sacrifices … Golda survived it all and became Israel’s first female prime minister. Her incredible story is a stunning reminder that one life can truly make a difference.

This epic film features an all-star cast, including Ned Beatty, Judy Davis, Leonard Nimoy and Robert Loggia.

The Australian Jewish News has 10 DVDs of A Woman Called Golda to give away each in Melbourne and Sydney.
