Messina Creative Department have partnered with Sydney Theatre Company to deliver the ultimate culinary and cultural experience.

You and three friends will enjoy an intimate 7-course degustation with accompanying liquid concoctions and other nectars of the gods. The Messina Creative Department will serve you a menu of fresh, seasonal, experimental creations that are designed to excite and challenge your palate.

After you’ve indulged in a meal of epic proportions, you’ll make your way to Sydney Opera House for award-winning director Kip Williams’ bold new interpretation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Venturing deep into the woods of sexual desire, this is not a Dream you’ve seen before, and it won’t be one you’ll soon forget.

Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions. Entry into this promotion constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Entry is only open to Australian residents, aged 18 and above.

Employees of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.

The promotion commences at 10.00am AEDT 11 August 2016 and closes at 11.00pm AEDT 31 August 2016 (the “Promotional Period”).

To be eligible to enter, during the Promotional Period, each entrant must enter their full name, address, email address, and mobile number on the custom designed entry form on the STC webpage sydneytheatre.com.au/messinamidsummercomp. The entrant will then be entered into the Draw (as defined in paragraph 7).

Only one (1) entry is permitted per person.

An approved computerised system will draw one (1) prize winner (“the Winner”) at 10.00am Monday after the event (Monday 5 September) (“the Draw”). The Draw will be conducted by STC at Pier 4, Hickson Road, Walsh Bay, NSW, 2000.   

The Prize (“the Prize”)  includes:
Four (4) tickets to Sydney Theatre Company’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream (“The Event”) on Thursday 22 September at 8pm.
Four (4) tickets to Messina Creative Department (“The Event”) on Thursday 22 September at 6pm.

The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any component of the Prize for a component of equal value at the Promoter’s sole discretion.

All additional expenses incurred, including but not limited to accommodation, transfers, refreshments, and insurance are not included in the Prize and are the responsibility of the Winner.

The Winner may redeem/use the Prize on <Thursday 22 September>.

The Winner will be notified by telephone and email on Monday 5 September 2016 and will be published on the STC website on the same day sydneytheatre.com.au/messinamidsummercomp.

The total Prize value is $912.

Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.

If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.

The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Prize must be taken together with, and on the same day as the Event.

The Promoter takes no responsibility for the variations in Prize values.

The Prize is not exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.

If the Prize is unclaimed, an unclaimed prize draw (“the Unclaimed Prize Draw”) may take place on Monday 12 September 2016 at STC Pier 4, Hickson Road, Walsh Bay, 2000, NSW. The Unclaimed Prize Draw will be conducted in the same manner as the Draw as provided in clause 7 of these Terms and Conditions.
The Winner of such Unclaimed Prize Draw) will be notified by phone and email within two (2) working days of the Unclaimed Prize Draw, and will be published STC website sydneytheatre.com.au/messinamidsummercomp within the same timeframe.

If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, the postponement or cancellation of the Event,  unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant, or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.

Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non- Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of:
any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);
any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
any entry that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
any variation in Prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;
any tax liability incurred.

The Promoter collects the entrant’s personal information in order to conduct the promotion and for the other purposes set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. In order to conduct the promotion the Promoter may disclose such information to third parties including but not limited to agents, employees and service providers assisting with this promotion. Some of these parties may be located outside of Australia, including in the United States. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, if the entrant has opted in, and, unless otherwise advised, use the information provided for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information, or to opt out of further communications to the Promoter’s Privacy Officer using the contact information provided within the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

All entries become the property of the Promoter.

These conditions constitute the entire agreement of the parties relating to the entry and the conduct of the competition.
