ONE thing that can really put a dampener on a holiday is mosquito attack. And if you don't like pungent sprays or lotions, what do you do?

The Para'Kito mosquito protection wristband offers a chemical-free option.

Diffusing a blend of seven essential oils, the band naturally deters mozzies in any climate.

Biome Eco Stores founder Tracey Bailey said that unlike other chemical-based repellents, the Para'Kito is Diethyltoluamide (DEET) and chemical-free, making it a safe mosquito repellent option for pregnant women, children and people with allergy prone or sensitive skin.

"The band provides 15 consecutive days of protection, making it suitable for various outdoor activities where repellent is required, including fishing, camping and climbing," she said.

"It's lightweight and waterproof design provides protection while swimming and participating in water activities."

Each wristband pack contains two replaceable pellets and additional pellets can be bought separately.

The band can be worn on the ankle or wrist.

The Senior has one Para'Kito mosquito protection wristband to give away.
