Now in its 27th year, Sydney Seafood School is launching its summer classes for kids and teens from five to 15 years old. The hands-on inaugural classes will cover two classic pasta dishes - potato gnocchi with basil pesto and fresh egg pasta with Napoletana sauce.

Provided with the assistance, younger children will have fun rolling and shaping dough, while teens will be more involved in the whole cooking process. All classes include a delicious pasta meal with drink, a take-home recipe kit, a cloth apron and a Barilla goody bag.

With Christmas just around the corner, a gift certificate to one of these classes may be just what Santa ordered for your junior MasterChefs.

Date: Thursday 19 January 2017
Times: 5-7 years 9am - 11.30am
8-12 years 1.30pm - 4.00pm
13-15 years 6.30pm - 9.30pm (can also attend regular scheduled classes accompanied by a responsible adult)
Cost: $90 per person, per class

CHILD Magazines is giving away 12 places in the summer cooking classes (in three age groups, each valued at $90), courtesy of Sydney Seafood School (Sydney Fish Market). Please ensure your child is available on Thursday 19 January 2017. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or a different class.

Entries close 12 December 2016. Winners will be notified via email within three days of the closing date (entrants are advised to check SPAM) and published on the website. If the winner cannot be contacted, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

 

Please note: Although the system will allow you to enter as many times as you like, only your first entry will count towards the competition.
