Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions – $500 coles/myer gift voucher
The prize draw (the “Prize Draw”) is open to Queensland residents aged 18 and over who provide their name and email address.
Employees or representatives of Smith’s Lawyers (“We”) or their family members, or anyone else connected with the Prize Draw may not enter the Prize Draw.
Entrants into the Prize Draw shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
By submitting your personal information you agree to receive emails from Smith’s Lawyers containing information and articles we think may interest you. You will be given the opportunity to unsubscribe on every email that we send.
No purchase is necessary.
Smith’s Lawyers accepts no responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason.
The start date of the Prize Draw is 00:01 on 13 March 2017.
The closing date of the Prize Draw is 23:59 on 28 May 2017.  Entries received outside this time period will not be considered.
The winner will receive one Coles/Myer voucher to the value of $500.
One winner will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.  The draw will be performed by a random computer process.  The draw will take place on 29 May 2017 at 12-noon.
Winners will be notified by phone/email within two (2) business days of the draw. By entering the draw the winner agrees to have their details published on https://www.facebook.com/smithslawyers and also social media channels owned by Smith’s Lawyers. If there are any unclaimed or un-awarded prizes a prize draw will be conducted on 12/06/2017 at the same time and place as the original draw. If a winner is drawn they will be contacted by phone and in writing within two (2) business days and will have their name published at https://www.facebook.com/smithslawyers and social media channels owned by Smith’s Lawyers.
The prize will be sent to the winner by Smith’s Lawyers by post.
The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
Smith’s Lawyers retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available.
The prize may be linked to numerous competitions. Only one entry per person per competition will be accepted.
Smith’s Lawyers shall use and take care of any personal information you supply to it as described in its privacy policy, a copy of which can be seen here, and in accordance with data protection legislation.  By entering the Prize Draw, you agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of your personal information in order to process and contact you about your Prize Draw entry, and for the purposes outlined in paragraph 14 above.
Smith’s Lawyers accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Prize Draw or accepting the prize. Smith’s Lawyers further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Prize Draw. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of Smith’s Lawyers for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.
The Prize Draw will be governed by Queensland law.
