Ryan toolkit rolls worth $110 each! Frederick Daniel Ryan was born in 1909 in the coal-mining town of Wonthaggi, Victoria. At the age of 16 he was apprenticed as a wheelwright, then as a blacksmith. He ventured to Melbourne to start his first business, forging knives and tools for the footwear and horticulture trade. Since 2014, his great-grandson James has continued the tradition of toolmaking: handmade artisan gardening tools forged from high-carbon steel, heat-treated for maximum strength and sharpened to a knife edge. These tools are a delight to use and beautiful to behold. With care they will last a lifetime.
