Because Melbourne’s Greek doughnut kings, Lukumades, are handing our FREE BOXES OF DOUGHNUTS to celebrate International Doughnut Day. Just to clarify, you don’t have to do anything to earn these doughnuts. Usually in life you get nothing for nothing, but this is the one time when you get a big Nutella-soaked something for nothing. And that’s worth celebrating. Lukumades are calling it their doughnut ‘happy hour’, although happiness seems like an inadequate emotion when receiving a FREE box of perfectly fried, fluffy Greek doughnuts, smothers in choc sauce, caramel, crumbled Oreos and vanilla ice-cream.
