Join Southern Cross Soloists for an adventure through a world of miniatures, in an exploration of masterworks from the great romantic composers at Redland Performing Arts Centre on Sunday, June 11 at 2pm.

From Beethoven’s magnificent 2nd Symphony (arranged by Beethoven himself for chamber ensemble) to the stunning beauty of Massenet and Schumann, the concert will culminate in the fun and virtuosic Saint-Saëns Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso reinvented for the wind soloists of Southern Cross Soloists. The Soloists will also present the Queensland premiere of Entr’acte, a new work for clarinet by Perth-based composer, Chris Tonkin.

The Soloists are renowned for delivering exciting and uplifting performances in their signature up close and personal style, and this program will certainly not disappoint in the beautiful acoustics of the Redland Performing Arts Centre Concert Hall.

Tickets are adults $50, seniors/pensioners $45, students/children $35 and groups of 10 or more $35 per person.
