Love is on the air with the ocker, Aussie duo, Barbara and Barry (aka real life couple Melissa Western and Tnee Dyer), so pull up a cabaret seat and step into the home studio of the self-appointed 'experts on love'.

This vintage duo delivers well-intentioned, yet questionable love advice through their talkback radio show Sweet, Sour and Saucy. Barbara and Barry love getting up close and personal with their audience and every night is a heady mix of silly love aids, match making and ultimately, a wedding.

This is an hilarious jazz-cabaret featuring songs by Eartha Kitt, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Bessie Smith and Nat King Cole.

Combining virtuosic piano playing, strong and sultry vocals, rich harmonies and inventive accompaniment (ukelele, washboard, spoons, trombone kazoo, tap dancing) Barbara and Barry end up being everyone's favourite love agony aunt and uncle. Barbara and Barry have performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, toured throughout Queensland including a sell-out season at the Judith Wright Centre, and hosted cabarets across the UK.

An extra show has been scheduled for 7.30pm on Friday, June 16 with the Saturday, June 17 show almost sold out.  Tickets are $32 with complimentary nibbles included.

For bookings or further information call the RPAC Box Office on 3829 8131 or visit www.rpac.com.au (booking fees are $4.10 per transaction by phone and $3 per ticket online).

WIN: Redland City Bulletin has one double pass to give away to the show on Friday, June 16 (value $64).  To be in the draw to win, enter your details below by 9am on Monday,  June 12. Conditions may apply. Winners will be contacted by a representative from RPAC and their names announced online.
