Win a double pass to the 2017 Australian Choral Grand Prix (https://www.seniorscard.nsw.gov.au/__data/assets/image/0005/16079/ACGP-780x585-700x530.png) Each year some of Australia’s best choirs come together under one roof for one of the most entertaining events in the Sydney Eisteddfod calendar. The Australian Choral Grand Prix sees the best place-getters from The John Lamble Foundation Australasian Open Choral Championship (Any Age and Youth categories) battle it out on stage for their slice of the $20,000 prize pool. Presented by Sydney Eisteddfod in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Sydney Cove, the Australian Choral Grand Prix awards the overall winner and the best performance of work by an Australian composer – both chosen by a jury – while the audience can once again get involved in the People’s Choice awards for the top 3 choirs. Be a part of this amazing afternoon of choral music performed by 8 choirs in the Open Age and the Youth Choir (19/u) categories performing up to 12 minutes each, including a piece by an Australian composer or arranger in their repertoire. The Australian Choral Grand Prix will be held on 20 August, 2017 at 2.30pm in the John Vallance Hall of Sydney Grammar School.
