And check out BELOW some of the businesses already nominated. Over a three week period local businesses in Mackay and The Whitsundays will be able to enter at 4mk.com.au for a chance to receive a business marketing package valued at $7,500. Listen out for Hammo and Perko plugging the businesses registered - they may even give yours a call to give you 60 Seconds in the Spotlight! Lauren in the 4MK Street Fleeter could also come visiting. In the fourth and final week, we will announce the winning business who will take home the package. CLASSIC HITS 4MK’S “TAKING CARE OF
BUSINESS” TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following terms and conditions apply for the Grant Broadcasters “Taking Care of Business”
competition.
These terms and conditions apply in conjunction with Grant Broadcasters’ General Contest Rules.
Where there is any inconsistency, these terms and conditions will prevail.
1. DURATION
The active promotion will run from Monday 7
th August until Friday 1
st September 2017.
2. METHOD OF ENTRY
Over a three week period, local businesses across Mackay and the Whitsundays will be able to be
nominated at 4mk.com.au for the chance to win a Business Marketing Package, also earning
themselves a business listing on the 4MK website and the chance of exposure on 4MK. Hammo and
Perko will go through the businesses listed on the website to promote the businesses on-air. Select
businesses (up to announcers’ discretion) may receive: a call from Hammo or Perko providing them
with a 60 Seconds in the Spotlight interview, and/or a visit from Lauren in the 4MK Street Fleeter,
and/or a visit from Hammo and/or Perko themselves. In the fourth and final week, 4MK will
announce the (one) business who has won the Business Marketing Package prize.
3. PRIZE
Businesses nominated for 4MK’s “Taking Care of Business” promotion will receive promotion from
4MK, but only one (1) nominated business will be selected as the winner of the Business Marketing
Package, valued at $7,500.
Business Marketing Package Prize includes:
 $5000+GST commercial schedule on 4MK
 'Digital Health Check and Strategy Session' thanks to SparX Digital, valued at $1,000+GST (A
complete review of current digital marketing activities / A 1 hour session with our marketing
strategist, digital marketing expert and strategy facilitator / And, a Digital Strategy document
to summarise the key points of the session), and
 4m x 4m Pop-Up Retail Space, valued at $1,500+GST (Site 1, located in-between Rockmans
and the new Rockwear tenancy) for up to 1 week at a mutually agreeable time for Caneland
Central and the winning business. The date is subject to availability in September or October
only and cannot be in the September school holidays. The winning business will need to
supply the required Public Liability Insurance.
4. SELECTION OF WINNERS
The one (1) winning business will be determined by Grant Broadcasters and promotion sponsors,
Mackay and Whitsunday Regional Councils. Winning business will be contacted by Hammo and/or
Perko by phone call on Friday 1st September. Winner’s prize call will be played on-air. The business
listed on the 4MK website throughout the promotion will also be up to the discretion of Grant
Broadcasters – content will be removed from the 4MK website if a breach of Grant Broadcasters’
website standards is found.
5. INDEMNITY
All contestants release from, and indemnify GRANT BROADCASTERS against, all liability, cost, loss or
expense arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or participation in the competition including (but
not limited to) loss of income, personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or
consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.
6. ALTERATION OF CONTEST SPOTS.
Grant Broadcasters reserves the right to alter or drop contest hours from the competition in any or
all markets due to changed programming conditions in the event of a natural disaster or for any
other unforeseeable reason.
