GET SNAP HAPPY! – KALGOORLIE BOULDER PHOTO COMPS Share your photography prowess and you could win up to $500, just for sharing your images of Kalgoorlie Boulder and the Goldfields. Read on to learn about current and upcoming photography competitions in our area. KALGOORLIE BOULDER PURE GOLD PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION (http://welovekb.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/Pure_Gold_Moments_FB_Cover_2017.jpg) #PureGoldPhotoComp One of the most popular photography competitions in Kalgoorlie Boulder, run by the Kalgoorlie Boulder Pure Gold Visitor Centre. This annual comp offers photographers of all skill levels the opportunity to share their images and potentially win $500 just for entering! There are two categories, Lifestyle and Architecture & Landscape. Entries in each category will be judged by a panel made up of Kalgoorlie Boulder Pure Gold board members winning $500 each and two other prize divisions for Facebook People’s Choice and Instagram People’s Choice will see winners chosen by popular vote and awarded $100 each. To enter, simply tag your images #puregoldphotocomp on Facebook & Instagram or email to visitors@kalgoorlie.com. Full competition T&C’s are available via the Visitor Centre website. This competition concludes on Sunday the 29th of October 2017. You can combine your love of our natural landscape with the chance to win $500. Simply snap a shot of some gorgeous natural wildflowers in the Goldfields and Wheatbelt region in Western Australia and tag #AGOWildflowers for your opportunity to win. We received a record amount of rainfall earlier in 2017 which makes for abundant floral displays in the Goldfields come to Spring, some you can view without even having to leave the highway. Make a day of it and include Lake Ballard, Ora Banda and Broad Arrow in your day tour and get snapping! This competition ends on Friday the 27th of October 2017 and you can submit your entry using the hashtag via Instagram, Facebook or Twitter or by emailing images to digital@goldenoutback.com.
