The bright lights of Broadway will shine on the Sydney Opera House 12-14 July as the Sydney Symphony Orchestra presents the hit Broadway musical Funny Girl in concert.

Funny Girl, which starred Barbra Streisand as Fanny Brice in both the original stage and film versions, features songs including I’m the Greatest Star, Don’t Rain on My Parade, The Music That Makes Me Dance and People.

With the film celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2018, this special concert production directed by Mitchell Butel will feature some of Australia’s favourite leading ladies who each night will share the role of Fanny Brice on stage: Michala Banas, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Casey Donovan, Virginia Gay, Verity Hunt-Ballard, Dami Im, Maggie McKenna, Zahra Newman, Caroline O’Connor, Queenie van de Zandt and Megan Washington. The show also stars Trevor Ashley, Nancye Hayes and Don Hany as Nick Arnstein

The winners will be drawn at The AJN Melbourne office on 6 July 2018. The winners will be drawn randomly and contacted by email only, using the email registered by the winner. The AJN cannot be held responsible for entrants failing to check their email or providing incorrect information. Winners’ names and details may be passed on to the promoter for winners to redeem prizes. Please note that the prizes are only those mentioned in the competition notice and are non-exchangeable. Tickets are strictly only available for the allocated performance and the allocated seat reflected on the ticket.
