Monster of the deep

What has eight arms with hundreds of suckers, two long, feeding tentacles, eyes the size of grapefruit and a razor-sharp beak? A giant squid! With a bit of imagination, you can see how these giant squid were once mistaken for monsters of the deep. This plushie from www.toygalaxy.com.au may have many long tentacles, but it’s just a softie!

To enter the competition, imagine your own mythical sea creature based on a real-life ocean animal and send us a colourful drawing. Tell us what you have named the creature and let us know which animal it’s based on.
Plush toy squid, brown in colour with tentacles and big eyes.
