Explore the oceans

Submerse yourself in building this Starbug kit! It looks just like CSIRO’s autonomous underwater vehicle, Starbug X, used to collect data and explore Ningaloo Reef. Find out more about Starbug X on page 6 of your Double Helix magazine.

To be in the running to win one of ten Starbug kits from CSIRO’s Ningaloo Outlook project, design a mini robot to collect ocean data. Perhaps your robot is camouflaged, solar powered or moves with the ocean’s currents! Send us a labelled drawing and tell us what data it collects.
