ABOUT THE FILM: The Nightingale is a powerful and beautifully crafted Australian story from the writer and director of The Babadook, Jennifer Kent. Winner of the Special Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival, The Nightingale follows a young Irish convict woman as she chases a British officer through the Tasmanian wilderness, bent on revenge for an act of violence committed against her family.
