Since 2012, Young Veterans has set out to enrich the lives of Australian veterans by connecting them with their communities through active and social events. Young Veterans was born from a necessity of support that wasn’t available. This support is one that inspires Veterans to think outside the box of what is possible, re-engage with civilian society and participate in positive events that challenge and rehabilitate. Young Veterans are a completely volunteer-run organisation which seeks to empower the lives of Australia’s heroes and help those suffering from anxiety, PTSD and depression to transition back to everyday life. About the Raffle The Young Veterans 1968 Dodge Charger Raffle will be conducted by Young Veterans Australia (ABN 34 630 100 015). The Promoter is a not-for-profit organisation. The Raffle starts at 12pm AEST on 15 July 2020. The Raffle closes at 12pm AEST on 11 October 2020. No entries will be accepted after this time. Entry is open to residents of Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, Tasmania, and Victoria, aged 18 years or older at the commencement of the Raffle. Note: Due to government regulations, South Australian and Western Australian residents are not permitted to purchase tickets in the raffle and are not eligible for any prizes. 62,000 tickets available for purchase at a cost of $25 each. The Draw will take place on Sunday, 11 October 2020 at 5.00pm AEST at 2/53 Douglas Street, Milton QLD 4064. Draw Method: Numbered Raffle Ticket stubs will be drawn at random from a barrel. Prize winners’ names will be published on the raffle website www.raffletix.com.au/68dodgecharger Attempts to Reach Winner If for any reason the winner cannot be contacted and prizes handed over within 28 days from the date of the draw the various regulators in each State and Territory will be notified and consulted as to how best resolve including timeframe for any redraw that may be required. Prize Claim Date Winners have 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize, except if the winner is from the ACT. In line with the ACT Gambling & Racing Commission legislation winners have 3 months to claim their prize before the prize is subject to a redraw. If a Prize that has been won by an ACT participant remains unclaimed for 3 months after the draw date a redraw will be held. If the redraw winner does not claim their Prize within 12 months from the date they are notified in which to claim their prize, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to regulatory approval, if required) to sell that prize. Additional Terms – Prizes The value of the 1st prize and 2nd prize has been established by an independent, expert valuation. All optional extras and accessories, any insurance not stated, fuel, personal costs, and all other ancillary or related costs are excluded.
