COMPETITION: Know any good dad jokes? To celebrate Father's Day 2020, we're having a bit of fun. Tell us your best (clean) dad joke and you could win. Reply in the comments with a video and you'll be entered into the competition. To get things started we asked the #DadsOfWesTrac to get involved... watch the video to see if you could do better. Dad Jokes Competition 2020 Terms and Conditions

1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these terms and conditions of entry (‘Terms and Conditions’).
2. Westrac Pty Ltd ABN 63 009 342 572 (WesTrac) is the competition promoter. Entry is open to WesTrac customers and followers on social media (‘Entrants’) who are residents in Australia and are OVER the age of 18.
3. Entry to this competition opened from 24 August 2020 and closes at 3.00pm on 4 September 2020 (‘Entry Period’). There is a limit of one entry per person.
4. To enter, during the Entry Period, an Entrant must have adhered to the instructions provided by the Facebook promotional post on 24 August 2020.
5. This promotion applies to those Entrants who, by the close of the Entry Period, have submitted their entry. All entries will be screened by the WesTrac marketing team for inappropriate content and eligibility. Eligible entries will then be judged on their ability to fit with the requirements of the promotional post in WesTrac’s discretion to determine 1 or more winners.
6. An entry is classified as a reply post containing a video (“Entry”). The video must feature the Entrant or the Entrant’s father telling a joke. The Entrant or the Entrant’s father in the video must be over the age of 18 at the time of filming.
7. All Entrants acknowledge that these Terms and Conditions are applicable and must be adhered to. Any Entrant found to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions will be disqualified from the promotion.
8. At the end of the Entry Period the winner will be announced on the promotional post and via a second post on 4 September 2020. The winner will be direct messaged and asked to provide a mailing address.
9. Prize/s: WesTrac will select ten winners, who will be awarded a $100 gift voucher to one of six retailers of their choosing: Bunnings, JB Hi-Fi, BCF, Anaconda, Supercheap Auto and Zing Pop Culture. The total prize pool is $1,000.
10. The winner acknowledges and provides permission, by entering the competition and agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, for the contents of their Entry (video), their name and state of residence to be published on social media and used for future promotions and marketing activities in accordance with clause 14.
11. To receive their prize, the winner must contact WesTrac via Facebook direct message.
12. The prize cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.
13. Following the assessment of Entries, the decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into with respect to the determination of the winner.
14. Entrants acknowledge and agree that WesTrac may use their Entry for promotional purposes and to be posted on social media (including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Vimeo, the WesTrac website and micro-sites). Entrants hereby grant WesTrac an irrevocable, unconditional licence to use any materials included in their Entry for any purpose. Entrants also acknowledge that WesTrac may use any personal information included in their Entry in accordance with WesTrac’s Privacy Policy, including for marketing purposes. Entrants generally and completely release WesTrac from any and all claims, liabilities and obligations, both known and unknown, that arise out of or are in any way related to the promotion, including (but not limited to) the use of their image, video, photo, text, description, name and state of residence in marketing-based activities.
15. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, WesTrac (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury or property damage which may be suffered or sustained by Entrants or any third party during the course of producing the Entry and using the prize or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
16. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Caterpillar or any third party.
17. By entering and participating, Entrants agree to hold harmless, defend and indemnify WesTrac, Facebook and Caterpillar from and against any and all claims, demands, liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), losses, costs or expenses, with respect to or arising out of or related to (i) Entrants’ participation in the promotion or (ii) Entrants’ participation in any prize related activities, acceptance of a prize and/or use or misuse of a prize (including, without limitation, any property loss, damage, personal injury or death caused to any person(s)).
18. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of WesTrac, WesTrac reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law to (a) disqualify any Entrants; and/or (b) modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
