BITES AND BLOOMS – WIN A DAY TRIP FOR FOUR PEOPLE TO
EXPERIENCE THE MAGICAL TOOWOOMBA CARNIVAL OF FLOWERS

There’s plenty to love about Queensland in spring – the amazing weather, the delicious
seasonal produce and the landscape bursting into full bloom are just a few reasons
it’s our favourite time of year. One event that really makes the most of all of these factors
(and then some) is the beloved Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers, an annual celebration
of all things botanical. From September 18–27 the region will become a kaleidoscope of colour,
art, experiences and flavours that are best enjoyed firsthand. With so much to see and do,
it can be tricky business planning your perfect carnival itinerary – so we’ve teamed up with
Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers to bring one lucky reader and three friends the ultimate day
trip to experience the best that the festival has to offer. Keep Saturday September 26 free, wear
your stretchy pants and your comfy shoes because this is one jam-packed day you’ll never forget!

You’ll start the day fuelling up with breakfast at Urban Grounds, followed by a glorious
stroll through Laurel Bank Park to admire the natural beauty. Next up is morning tea at
The Baker’s Duck (vanilla and raspberry cake, anyone?) before a visit to the show-stopping
Queens Park and the Botanic Gardens to soak up the pure splendour of more than 170,000
stunning blooms. Hot tip – make time for a spin on the Ferris wheel for optimal park views.
Whet your appetite with a hearty lunch at Cobb’s Coffee Shop before exploring the
Cobb & Co. Museum, then it’s off to Grand Central Shopping Centre for the
Parade of Colour and a cheeky spot of shopping. The cherry on top?
Fitzy’s deconstructed pavlova for afternoon tea before scooting off home.

One lucky winner will win a day trip for themselves and three friends to experience
the best of the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers, including a food-trail feast as part
of the new #trEATS program – all valued at $400! Enter below for your chance to win.
