Taking over Queensland Museum, the Cultural Precinct and various spots around the city for five jam-packed days from March 24–28, Brisbane’s favourite mind-bending event features a mammoth roster of conversations, demonstrations and spectacles that will make you see the world (and beyond) from a brand-new perspective. From saving humanity to sexy questions and even boozy experiments, there is fun and wisdom on offer for every kind of human being. Cap your night off with a drink or two at The Nucleus, the festival’s on-site bar that will be buzzing with free chats and tunes to enjoy. We highly recommend a morning spent by the pool before you check out of your hotel digs, then head to your final event Science vs Politics. The conversation will give a behind-the-scenes look at why scientists and politicians are often at odds, especially in a political system based on popularity and self-preservation.
