To enter and to be eligible to win the prize, Entrants must, during the Competition Period. Failure to provide the requested information will render the entry invalid. Entrants must comply with these terms and conditions. Entrants may enter once. 4- DRAW The winner will be drawn at random on Friday, April 30th, 2021 at 12pm AEDT at the Promoter’s premises. The first valid entry drawn will win the prize. The winner’s name will be announced at the New Caledonia Tourism office, Level 2, 65-71 Belmore Road, Randwick, NSW 2031. The Winner will be notified by email within 2 business days of the draw and the Winner will have 28 days to respond with their details to claim the prize. The draw results will be published at Caledoniandream.com and/or www.facebook.com/NewCaledonia within two business days after the draw date/s for 28 days. The Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw in the event that an entrant, claiming to be a winner, is unable to satisfy these Terms and Conditions or has breached these Terms and Conditions or is unreachable. A new prize draw, to distribute any prize unclaimed by this date will occur. The redraw will take place at the office of New Caledonia Tourism on Friday, July 30th, 2021 at 12:pm AEDT. The redrawn winner will be notified by email within 2 business days. If a redraw is conducted the original winner drawn will have no claim to any prize. The unclaimed prize draw results will be published at caledoniandream.com and/or www.facebook.com/NewCaledonia within two business days after the draw date/s for 28 days. The prize must be accepted as awarded, is non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State and Territory legislation. This information may not be published elsewhere without the written permission of the Promoter. 5- PRIZE DESCRIPTION AND VALUE There will be one (1) winner and (1) prize awarded. The prize details: • Two (2) roundtrip tickets to Nouméa. Valid for two (2) people from Sydney or Brisbane or Auckland to Nouméa, New Caledonia. (The winner must arrange their own transportation to selected airport). The airfares included in the prize are subject to the Flight Terms & Conditions set out at the end of this document, and any other terms or conditions imposed by the airline. Extensions are not permitted at any time. • The total prize value is up to AU$ 1,400 (including GST). Prize value is recommended retail price and is subject to change. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. This prize is not transferable, not redeemable for Cash and may not be combined with any other promotion. • Travel (including Aircalin codeshare flights on SB flight number) is on a firm space basis, though subject at all times to availability at time of request. Aircalin reserves the right to offer an alternative date of travel when the preferred choice is not available. • Please note departures in peak travel periods may not be available, e.g. Easter, Christmas, School Holidays and Special Events. • Travel valid from the 1st of August 2021 (subject to open borders between Australia and New Caledonia) and must be completed by the 30 May 2022. • Travel period cannot be extended beyond the expiry date. • Aircalin highly recommends you take out travel insurance due to unforeseen circumstances that may arise. • Winner and guest are responsible for all other expenses not expressly stated herein including, without limitation, spending money, meals, drinks, transfers (including from the airport of the arrival city to the hotel), accommodation, activities, incidentals, gratuities, services charges, passports, visas, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. • The travellers must ensure that they have valid documentation, including but not limited to valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the travellers. • Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the prize winner and their travel companions. All prize travel will be subject to the carrier’s General Conditions of Carriage. The Promoter and carrier make no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various sources, including local government, local consular offices and the web site of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade at www.smartraveller.gov.au. Travel insurance is not included in the prize but is highly recommended. • The winner and their guest must depart on the same date from the same airport on the same flight. The winner and their guest must depart Noumea to return to Australia or New Zealand on the same date from the same airport on the same flight. If the winner resides in any other city than an airport city quoted above (Sydney / Brisbane / Auckland), the winner and their guest will be responsible for obtaining appropriate transport to the chosen airport. For the avoidance of doubt, such transport to the chosen airport does not form part of the prize and the prize winner must pay all costs in connection with the connecting transport. • If for any reason whatsoever the winner is unable to take any element of the prize in the time period specified by the Promoter, then that element of the prize in its entirety will be forfeited to the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize. If the prize winner is under 18 years of age, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or legal guardian. • The prize, in whole or in any part, is not transferable to another individual and is not exchangeable or redeemable for cash, goods or services. The prize is not refundable and cannot be upgraded.
