2021 QLD People's Choice Award supported by The Courier Mail's At Home Magazine

The Awards program provides a key vehicle for the promotion of the work of landscape architects in Australia. The Awards process demonstrates the positive impact the profession has on Australian lives through the planning and design of the built and natural environments.

This year the nominations for the People's Choice Award include play spaces, parks and open spaces and garden related projects… all delivering health and wellbeing to Queenslanders in their own unique way…. The question is “Which is your favourite?”

The People’s Choice Award will be announced at the 2021 AILA QLD Landscape Architecture Awards on 17 June through YouTube Premiere.

Voting closes Sunday 6 June at 11:59pm!

By voting you will go in the draw to win a two-night package for two people at Lady Elliot Island Resort valued at $2146 thanks to Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort . The lucky winner will be announced on Friday 18 June.

Voting is open to the public, but excludes employees of entrant projects and companies associated with the People’s Choice Award.
The project with the most votes will win the People's Choice Award.
The People’s Choice Award winner will be announced at the 2021 AILA QLD Landscape Architecture Awards on 17 June and in The Courier Mail afterwards.
One voter will be chosen at random to win the prize.
The prize is two (2) nights at Lady Elliot in a Reef Unit for two people with flights from Hervey Bay including 2 nights’ accommodation, return scenic flight ex Hervey Bay, buffet dinner and breakfast, combined glass bottom boat tour/boat snorkel, snorkelling equipment and lesson if required, and island activities valued at $2146.


Terms and Conditions:

1.This competition will be run by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) in association with News Corp.

2.Voting will open at 9am on Friday 21 May and close at 11.59pm on Sunday 6 June.

3.Voters can vote once (1) only for one(1)project.

4.Voting is open to the public, but excludes employees from entrant projects and companies associated with the People’s Choice Award (AILA, News Corp, Lady Elliot Island)

5.Voting will be done via the AILA Awards Force platform.

6.Voters will need to create an account to vote and be eligible for the prize.

7.The project with the most votes will win the People's Choice Award.

8.The People’s Choice Award will be announced at the 2021 AILA QLD LandscapeArchitecture Awards on 17 June and published in the Courier Mail afterwards.

9.One voter will be chosen at random to win the prize.

11.Specific prize conditions will be outlined on the prize gift certificate.
