New movie Buckley's Chance is a fish-out-of-water story of a young boy who becomes lost in the harsh Australian outback. A year after the loss of his father, Ridley and his mother Gloria (Victoria Hill) move from New York to Western Australia to live with Ridley's estranged cattle station-owning grandfather, Spencer (Bill Nighy). Spencer tries to connect with his grandson, but all efforts usually lead to conflict. Ridley (Milan Burch) ends up lost deep in the outback with nothing but his camcorder and his new friend, a wayward dingo he names Buckley after rescuing him from a leg trap.
