To enter, complete and submit the entry form provided in the competition eDM including a creative response in 30 words or less to the following question: ‘which piece of art would you steal, and why?’

Terms & Conditions:

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.

2. Entry is open to residents of Australia except residents of the Northern Territory Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.

3. To enter, complete and submit the entry form provided in the competition eDM including a creative response in 30 words or less to the following question: ‘which piece of art would you steal, and why?’

4. The competition commences at 00.01am (AEDT) on Sunday 13 March 2022 and closes at 08.00am (AEDT) on Friday 18 March 2022 (“Promotional Period”)

5. This competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner(s). All entries will be judged individually on their merits based on creativity and originality. The best 50 entries, as determined by the judges, will receive a prize.

6. The judging will take place at 2.00pm (AEDT) on Friday 18 March 2022 at Level 10, 428 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000. Entries will be judged by a panel of judges from Dymocks.

7. The prize consists of;

All taxes (excluding GST) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. All other ancillary costs including but not limited to meals, drinks, transport and any and all other expenses are the responsibility of the winner.

Note: all prize amounts are stated in Australian Dollars.

8. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The judges’ decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if illegitimate, forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.

9. In the event that any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

10. The winner(s) will be notified by email by Monday 21 March 2022. The winners will be announced by Tuesday 22 March on the Dymocks website.

11. If a winner is under 18 years of age, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or guardian.

12. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of identity, residential address of winners and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion.

13. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered (even if caused by negligence) as a result of accepting and/or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

14. Before the prize is awarded, the winner and any other person(s) sharing the prize with the winner may be required to sign an agreement to release the Promoter from, and indemnity the Promoter against, any liability arising from the use or participation in the prize.

15. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may modify cancel, terminate or suspend the competition.

16. Entrants confirm and promise that their entry is original and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.

17. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice and their entry in the event that they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

18. Information collected from entrants will be used in accordance with the terms of the Promoter’s Privacy Policy which can be viewed at https://www.dymocks.com.au/faq/privacy-security/. Information collected as part of the promotion will be used for the purpose of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties, including local lottery authorities, for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for promotional purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant.
